Traditional glass mirror
Silvering behind ¼″ (6 mm) of glass
Shatterproof | No glass
The Mirra Mirror is the ideal alternative to conventional laminated safety glass mirrors—without compromising on quality or reflectivity. Thanks to state-of-the-art, patented nano-film, it is completely shatterproof and splinter-free, even under heavy use in gyms, dance studios, or at home.
Weighing just 2 kg per square meter, the mirror is up to 10 times lighter than a conventional glass mirror. Its light weight makes it particularly easy to transport, quick to install, and flexible to reposition.
Thanks to its revolutionary nano-coating, the elamirror® remains virtually fog-free even in the presence of steam or moisture. No more fog—for a clear view, anytime, anywhere.
Our nano-film provides a crystal-clear, distortion-free reflection. Since the reflective layer is located directly on the surface and there is no glass in front of it, there is less light loss due to refraction, absorption, or scattering—making the reflection appear brighter and clearer.
The mirrored surface consists of a stretched HD film mounted on an aluminum frame. It cannot break or shatter. Whether it's falling dumbbells, jumping, or ball games—the surface holds up.
A 4-mm-thick sheet of glass. A 120 × 200 panel weighs 4.8 kg instead of about 24. No heavy-duty anchors, no stud framing—even on drywall.
The reflective layer is on the surface, not behind glass. One image instead of two. Thermally tensioned, so it's flat all the way to the edge.
Nano-coating, no power outlet. Hot yoga, HIIT, twenty people at 26 degrees.

The optics
A traditional mirror hides its silvering behind a sheet of glass. Light has to pass through that glass, bend, bounce off the back and bend again on the way out — while a few percent bounces straight off the front. Two reflections, slightly out of line. That faint double edge is the ghost.
Mirra's reflective layer sits on the surface, with nothing in front of it. One surface, one reflection. And since you rarely stand dead-center in front of a mirror, drag the slider to see how the ghost grows with your angle.

Reflective film on the surface · no glass
Glass figures are calculated live with Snell's law and the Fresnel equations for standard float glass (refractive index 1.52) at the thickness shown, and apply to any back-silvered glass mirror. Mirra's reflective film is microns thin, so its ghost offset rounds to zero. Viewfinder is magnified, with the ghost enhanced for visibility.

How it mounts
Two brackets along the bottom carry the weight; two along the top keep the frame tight to the wall. Every screw goes into the wall or the aluminum frame — never through the mirror itself.
And with no heavy glass to lift, there's no installer to book.
Drywall · Hollow-wall anchors, or screw straight into a stud.
